It was a Monday. The time was 6 o’clock. I had tonsillitis. Allen had a cold. Adrian had a craving for pomegranates. Kazuya had a small mouse in his sock. The stage was set for our first gig outside of Sano!

We opened up with two new songs: Romancing the Skull and WWBD. WWBD stands for “What would Batman do?”. It’s a difficult song to play, and I don’t feel that we did it justice that night, but hey, it was our first time playing it!

Next, we mellowed things out a bit with a cover of “House of the Rising Sun”:

And another cover (we’re working on the originals, honestly!). We called this one “Medley”, since we seamlessly merged two songs into one:

At last, we did another original song. Our old friend Greg wrote the lyrics, and I tried my best to fit some music to his insanity:

We finished with our “unique” version of “Can’t take my eyes off you”. No video of that one, sorry, the crowd just got too excited and the camera was lost in the surging throng. Well, actually, the batteries ran out.
